A few weeks after Capgun Coup premiered their video, “My Boredom is Bored” with Hear Nebraska, they fired back with a new release. This time, the Capgun boys chose to debut their video “Q&A” with the Vinyl District. We’re delighted to see these guys pushing out videos for their third studio album, Contextual Doom, which will be released May 8 on ORG Music. To watch the video, click here.
Cursive and Cymbals Eat Guitars combined their efforts and created an off-shoot supergroup that could possibly be best suited under the moniker “Cursive Eats Guitars.” The bands stopped by the Onion’s A.V. Club studios and weaved together their capabilities to cover the 90’s pseudo-smash track “Hey Jealousy,” by Gin Blossoms. Watch and enjoy.
Tonight marks the second installment of the Good Speakers with with Darren Keen’s Bad Speler + Kobrakyle & Kethro at the House of Loom. Keen says that he is working on remastering all of his Bad Speler material for tonight’s performance, which is sure to leave a memorable mark. Keen has also been releasing a new, original track each Thursday that is accompanied by a music video. Last week, he remixed a Whitney Houston song that is pretty wild. This is the first, and hopefully not the last time the Love Drunk crew ascends their skills to the skies by shooting a music video for Kyle Harvey’s track “When to Let Go.” This video truly captures outstanding views (not to mention music) of Gretna, NE while soaring 2,000 ft. above the ground. WARNING: those with a fear of heights may get a sense of vertigo while watching the video here.
